By downloading or using Billion Beats ("the App"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Terms & Conditions

1.1 Use of the App

Billion Beats is provided for personal, non-commercial use to help you visualize your estimated remaining heartbeats based on a 2.5 billion beat lifetime budget. You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to reverse engineer it, or use it in any unlawful way.

1.2 No Medical Advice

The App is for informational and motivational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The heartbeat calculations are estimates based on averages and should not be used for health decisions. Always consult a healthcare professional for medical concerns.

1.3 No Guarantees

The App is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of heartbeat estimates, lifespan calculations, or any other data displayed.

1.4 Data Responsibility

You are responsible for any data you enter. If you delete the App, your data may be permanently lost.

1.5 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Billion Beats and its creator are not liable for any damages arising from use or inability to use the App, including any reliance on the estimates provided.

1.6 Changes

We may update the App or these terms at any time. Continued use means acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Privacy Policy

2.1 Data We Collect

Billion Beats is designed to collect as little data as possible. The App may store:

• Your birth date (entered by you or read from HealthKit with your permission)
• Your resting heart rate (entered by you or read from HealthKit with your permission)
• App settings and preferences

2.2 HealthKit Integration

With your explicit permission, the App may read:

• Date of birth from Apple Health
• Resting heart rate samples from Apple Health

This data is used solely to personalize your heartbeat calculations. HealthKit data is never stored on external servers, shared with third parties, or used for advertising. You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in iOS Settings.

2.3 Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect:

• Names, emails, phone numbers, or account credentials
• Location data
• Contacts
• Advertising identifiers
• Browsing or cross-app tracking data

No data is sold or shared with third parties.

2.4 Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics to understand basic app usage (for example, feature usage) and improve stability (for example, crash reports). Analytics:

• Are used only to improve the App
• Are not used for advertising
• Do not track you across apps or services

2.5 Data Sharing

Your data is never shared with third parties. All data remains on your device.

2.6 Data Security

We rely on Apple's system-level security (iOS) to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, but we take minimal-data design seriously.

2.7 Children's Privacy

Billion Beats is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

2.8 Your Rights & Choices

You can:

• View, edit, or delete your data at any time inside the App
• Revoke HealthKit permissions in iOS Settings
• Remove all data by deleting the App
